Zueignung recognized in choral competition

Matthew Swartz is the First Prize recipient of the Mountainside Master Chorale's 2015 'California Voices II' emerging composers competition. His piece, Zueignung (for SATB Chorus and Piano), was premiered on June 11 and 12, 2016 at First Christian Church, Pomona, CA. The program also included commissioned works by composers Ron Kean, Shawn Kirchner, and Edward Zeliff.
